Run - a long day

We were up at 5.45 for porridge and last minute bag checking, on the road at 6.30 and only got home around 7pm. A long day - but I did it! I ran the Brighton marathon in lovely sunshine with some great companions. As marathons go, it was one of the best!

Off to bed now as I'm exhausted - and no more running for a while till my legs feel normal!

    1. Oh thank you! it's great when all the training comes together at the right time - I've done some events where that hasn't happened so really appreciate it when it does x

  2. Well done! What an achievement - you should feel very proud of yourself. I'm glad to see the Brighton Marathon growing in popularity - it's supposed to be a good course. Judy.

    1. Thank you Judith! Brighton marathon was great - it's the first time I've done it but I don't think it will be the last as it's such a great location, it was well organised and the supporters on the route were amazing.

  3. Fantastic achievement, well done. I've run half marathons but never a full one - and at the moment not sure I could even run 10K. Once again - really well done!

    1. Thank you! I definitely have ups and downs with running - really enjoying it at the moment but there are patches when it's not so easy, and I just try to remind myself that doing something (however short) is always better than nothing!

I'm not sure if anyone reads this. But if you do, and you'd like to comment, I'd get very excited. And would try to reply. Thanks!
